STI telecom purchased TFI communications, a leading local Montreal Panasonic dealer.

Mr. Benyamin became the sole owner of the company.

Ben Benyamin and Mr. Koshab founded Service Telecommunications Inc. (STI Telecom) to provide business telephone solutions to the greater Montreal area. Initially the company provided cabling installations and sales and support for Panasonic and Nortel business telephone systems.

The seeds of STI Telecom began with Messrs. Ben Benyamin and Mr. Koshab. Both had been working in the business telephony industry.
